Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in a regulated industry.
• Experience with aerospace standards and DO-254/DO-178C is a plus.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate shop orders, work orders, and manufacturing routers for NPI hoist assembly and testing.
• Develop visual assembly instructions, work instructions, and job aids.
• Create qualification and rework shop orders based on testing results.
• Collaborate with MRB to address rework, repair, and modification requirements.
• Design, modify, and implement mechanical tooling, assembly aids, and electrical test equipment.
• Provide hands-on shop-floor support during assembly, testing, and qualification.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Document technical issues, corrective actions, and solutions.
• Support product qualification and test rejection disposition.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety, quality, regulatory, and certification requirements.
• Communicate technical issues and project status effectively with engineering and manufacturing teams.
