Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an on-site role near Kearney, NE. You will lead and support technical projects, drive maintenance and equipment reliability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality and production goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive engineering and leadership experience, with experience in facilities, maintenance, and automated systems, plus exposure to rubber molding or medical device

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive engineering and leadership experience.
• Experience with facilities, maintenance and equipment repair.
• Experience in rubber compression molding and/or medical device manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in managing projects.
• Experience with automated systems.
• Experience with AB and Siemens PLCs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support technical engineering projects for production and facility systems.
• Ensure projects are completed safely and on time.
• Collaborate with maintenance to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate vendor start-up and qualification of new equipment.
• Maintain and update equipment drawings and PM plans.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and environmental requirements.
• Interface with internal stakeholders and external planners and vendors.
• Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
