Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher company, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for its Cortland, NY site. You will determine manufacturing methods from startup through production, and drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements while aligning with design intent.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing/engineering, with proficiency in MS Office and exposure to Lean/Kaizen. The role offers a strong benefits package and competitive salary.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with 5+ years professional experience in Manufacturing/Process/Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering
Experience identifying and implementing improvements to processes, tools, and tooling
Proficiency with MS Office suite; Minitab is a plus
Knowledge of Kaizen/Lean Manufacturing is a plus
PLC programming knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

Determine optimal manufacturing methods and processes from startup to production
Support manufacturing operations to improve Safety, Ergonomics, On Time Delivery, Productivity and yields
Identify and develop production, assembly & testing processes and tooling
Ensure safe, economical, high-quality production and adherence to design integrity
Lead or participate in Lean Manufacturing and SPC initiatives and NPI teams
