Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production of filtration products in Cortland, NY. You will help improve safety, ergonomics, productivity and develop manufacturing, assembly and testing processes.

Join cross-functional teams with project management, quality and safety; use data-driven approaches, Kaizen and Lean to reduce waste and variation, with opportunities to influence cell design and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with 3+ years of professional experience in Engineering (Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
• Experience identifying and implementing improvements to processes, tools and tooling
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements under minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Participate and lead small teams in continuous improvement events to improve manufacturing processes
• Find creative and novel solutions using a data driven mindset
• Ability to generate, revise and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and piping & instrumentation diagrams
• Focus on efficiencies in all areas of the manufacturing process
• Have an impact on reducing process variation, reducing waste, standard work creation, work to optimize cell design to correct quality and process upsets
