Job summary

Actalent seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead and optimize high‑volume production processes at our Dublin, VA site. You will drive lean improvements, time studies, line balancing, and standardization to boost safety, quality, and throughput on the shop floor.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Materials, and Production teams, support new product launches, develop process methods, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring adherence to plant procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering or related field with pathway options noted.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering and process improvement is essential.
• Proven ability to work on the shop floor with operators to implement improvements.
• Strong lean and six-sigma knowledge applied to production.
• Ability to lead and mentor other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support process trials to validate manufacturability and capability.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support to maintain efficient operations.
• Establish and maintain production methods, standards, tooling, and equipment.
• Drive safety, ergonomics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and layouts.
