Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development, continuous improvement, and production optimization across high-volume manufacturing. You will partner with Design Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or engineering field.
• Minimum 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process development and optimization for production and assembly operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust manufacturing processes to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Provide technical leadership for capital equipment selection, installation, validation, and commissioning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause problem-solving methodologies.
• Evaluate and improve process capability, productivity, throughput, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans, and standard work.
• Support New Product Introduction ETO activities and ensure manufacturability of new designs.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing and design-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ASME standards, engineering specifications, safety requirements, and industry regulations.
