Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Indianapolis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to troubleshoot, modify, and optimize equipment in a fast-paced, high-volume plant. You will lead corrective actions, preventive maintenance, and Kaizen-driven improvements to raise efficiency and output.

Candidates should have 2+ years in operations or engineering, with experience in A/B Control Logix 5000, Siemens S7 PLCs, and pneumatic/hydraulic controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
2+ years of experience in Operations or Engineering.

Responsibilities

Respond to plant issues and emergencies; act as technical expert.
Troubleshoot equipment and tooling; provide support to maintenance and production.
Implement preventive maintenance procedures.
Plan and modify equipment and tooling; ensure release to production.
Lead Kaizen events to boost line output and efficiency.
Utilize maintenance and tooling systems and planning tools.
Contribute to cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomics improvements.
Adhere to OSHA and Carrier EHS policies; support union relations.
