Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 12+ month engagement in Savannah, GA. You will lead manufacturing engineering work, drive process improvements, develop work instructions, MBOMs, and support make-versus-buy decisions.

The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of production planning and tooling. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methods to raise capability and quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
• Experience creating Work Instructions, Process Plans, Manufacturing Documentation, and MBOMs.
• Experience with SAP, Solumina, Corridor or similar systems.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience supporting cross-functional manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering activities focused on methods and tooling.
• Analyze operations to identify efficiency, cost, quality and productivity gains.
• Develop detailed manufacturing work instructions, process plans, and MBOMs.
• Create and maintain MBOMs using SAP, Solumina, Corridor or similar systems.
• Support make-versus-buy decisions and supplier interactions.
• Lead cross-functional projects with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma and data-driven methods to improve process capability and quality.
