Job summary

CIRCOR Pumps North America, LLC in Monroe, NC is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and improve quality plans, lead corrective and preventive actions, and respond to customer escapes and SCARs while supporting internal and external audits.

You will apply APQP, FMEA, PPAP and other quality tools, interpret standards such as AS9100/ISO9001, and collaborate across functions to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of quality engineering experience.
• ASQ certification (or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve quality plans (PCS).
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare and respond to customer escapes and corrective action requests (SCARs).
• Prepare reports such as VIRS, VPARS, LOAs, and RCCA responses.
• Drive continuous improvement through COS tools.
• Develop, create, edit and implement special process and quality system procedures.
• Assist with internal and external 3rd party and customer audits.
