Salary range is $86,000–$126,000 with a variable incentive program. The role coordinates manufacturing changes, leads product development manufacturing efforts, and improves flow, methods, and training to simplify learning curves while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• One year of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Recommend product design changes to improve manufacturability and workflow, including design for manufacturing and automation.
• Assist product development staff with new product concepts to ensure manufacturability.
• Lead the manufacturing portion of product development.
• Manage capital projects and oversee equipment installation.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and explore opportunities with employee teams.
• Implement and direct engineering changes in production, training personnel accordingly.
• Ensure safety reviews are completed for processes and equipment changes.
• Design training aids and procedures for manufacturing processes.
• Analyze discrepant parts and drive corrective actions using 8D, PFMEA, and root-cause tools.
• Establish methods for production including standard work, cycle time, takt time, and ergonomics.
