Q-Lab Corporation in Westlake, Ohio, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead cross-functional teams in reducing cost and improving manufacturability while designing and implementing new machinery, tooling, and electro-mechanical test fixtures to support production.

You will manage projects, generate engineering documentation, and apply expert problem solving, with hands-on design using 3D CAD tools. A strong background in cost analysis and capital equipment is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial).
• 10+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on with custom design and with commercially available components.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Experience with product costing and capital equipment projects.
• Proficient with 3D CAD tools (Inventor, SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to lower cost and improve productivity and manufacturability.
• Project management: requirements, risk mitigation, cost, timelines.
• Design, manage, and implement new machinery, tooling, and electro-mechanical fixtures.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation.
