Job summary

Q-Lab Corporation in Westlake, Ohio is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead cross-functional teams and drive cost reductions and productivity improvements. You will design, manage, and implement new machinery, tooling, and electro-mechanical test fixtures to support production of Q-Lab products and services.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 10+ years in manufacturing, and hands-on design experience with CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial) required.
• 10+ years manufacturing experience in a production environment.
• Hands-on with custom design and building with commercial components.
• Strong problem-solving, independent thinking and collaboration.
• Proven capability in product costing and capital equipment projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to reduce costs and boost productivity and manufacturability.
• Project management excellence: requirements, risk mitigation, costs and timelines.
• Design, manage, and implement new machinery, tooling, and test fixtures for production.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation.
