GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in the United States to manage delivery projects within the Supplier Performance & Execution Sourcing Section. You will organize cross‑functional teams to improve product delivery, support the Sourcing team, and resolve manufacturing issues.

You will own the technical performance of multiple suppliers with frequent travel (25–50%), drive cost reductions, influence supplier selection, and collaborate with commercial and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing, Engineering or Production Management experience; or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years in Manufacturing, Engineering or Production Management.
• Expertise in traditional (milling, turning, broach, weld) and/or non-traditional (EDM, 3D printing) machining methods.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Engineering focal for assigned supplier base.
• Own the technical performance of multiple suppliers; travel 25-50% for supplier collaboration.
• Identify delivery barriers and resolve with fulfilment, commercial and quality teams.
• Act as a Project Manager for large complex suppliers with others.
• Guide suppliers' performance based on manufacturing expertise.
• Drive cost reduction within the assigned supply base and address cost issues.
• Participate in supplier selection based on value and support source changes as needed.
