Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate delivery projects within the Supplier Performance & Execution Sourcing Section. You will organize cross-functional teams to improve product delivery, support the Sourcing team, and resolve manufacturing issues with deep manufacturing expertise.

You will lead manufacturing efforts across multiple suppliers, drive cost reductions, and influence supplier selection to ensure value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 5+ years in Manufacturing, Engineering or Production Management.
• Alternative: high school diploma with 10+ years in Manufacturing, Engineering or Production Management.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Engineering focal for assigned supplier base.
• Own the technical performance of multiple suppliers; frequent travel 25-50%.
• Identify delivery barriers and resolve with fulfilment, commercial and quality teams.
• Acts as a Project Manager for large, complex suppliers.
• Guide and influence suppliers' performance based on manufacturing expertise.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives within the supplier base.
• Support supplier changes and develop lower performing suppliers.
