Job summary

Ferrotec is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to optimize and design production and inspection processes in a semiconductor-focused environment. You will drive process development, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across global teams.

You will establish standards, analyze equipment and workforce performance, and lead MES-related instruction and data analysis efforts, with travel to Asia as required.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial, Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in manufacturing or industrial engineering (process development, quality/production/testing).
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment or contract manufacturing.
• Robot assembly, manufacturing, and testing experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with MES software and strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize production and inspection processes.
• Establish standards, evaluate equipment and workforce capabilities.
• Drive quality and operational excellence across global teams.
• Develop and document process flows, time standards, and OMS for MES.
• Lead failure analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with design engineering to resolve issues during NPI and scale-up.
• Travel domestically and internationally to Asia as needed.
