Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Engineer for Mechanical Fluids Assemblies to own hardware from design release through build and test. You will develop build flows, ensure readiness of high-volume subassemblies, and drive manufacturability and quality across fluids, electrical, and structural modules.

You will collaborate with design, supply chain, production, and test teams; apply GD&T, CAD, and root-cause analysis; and help scale manufacturing as Terran R

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a related technical field required.
• 5+ years hands-on hardware experience in manufacturing/integration.
• Investigate hardware issues and implement corrective actions.
• Familiar with tolerance stack-up analysis and testing methods.
• Proficient with GD&T and CAD; strong cross-functional interfacing.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware from design release through build, test, and delivery for vehicle sub-systems.
• Develop and release build flows, work instructions, and test procedures.
• Support first article builds with a focus on manufacturability and repeatability.
• Provide hands-on floor support and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with design, supply chain, production, and test teams for readiness and handoffs.
• Contribute to long-term manufacturing systems and infrastructure development.
