Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in Los Alamitos, CA to oversee manufacturing execution, quality systems, and supplier performance for our data center cooling product lines. You will partner with manufacturing partners and contract manufacturers to ensure production quality, throughput, and documentation control, from process development to ramp and production readiness.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in Manufacturing/Quality/Production Engineering.
• Expertise in manufacturing engineering, QA, and electronic assembly.
• Experience with Control Plans, PFMEA, and process improvement.
• Proficient in PPAP, RCA, and First Article Inspection.
• Able to interpret schematics, BOMs, and manufacturing docs.
• Strong supplier management and communication skills.
• Independent work with limited supervision requested.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing execution and quality systems for data center cooling lines.
• Drive process improvements and production readiness activities.
• Serve as the liaison between company and manufacturing partners.
• Ensure production quality, throughput, and documentation control.
• Manage supplier performance and product scaling.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.
• Own manufacturing quality, process development, and production execution end-to-end.
