Job summary

Actalent seeks an Engineering Manager in Frederick, MD to drive manufacturing improvements and lead a team of engineers in an electronics assembly environment. You will coordinate with operations, customer and supplier stakeholders and support NPI and process development across IPC/compliance standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in electronic or PCB manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IPC standards.
• Experience leading or managing a team of engineers.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced people management and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead major continuous improvement initiatives in electronics assembly and test.
• Hire and develop manufacturing and test engineers and the Engineering Production Services team.
• Coordinate engineering and support personnel with cross-functional teams.
• Drive manufacturing engineering strategies to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in contract and design reviews.
