Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to build and optimize on-site manufacturing for UL 891 switchboards and large electrical assemblies. This hands-on role leads production support, process improvements, and cross-functional work across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5–15 years of manufacturing engineering in a production setting.
Hands-on, “let’s go see” mentality on the production floor.
Experience creating SOPs, routings, and scalable manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

Design, procure, and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment for scalable production.
Troubleshoot tooling, equipment, and process issues to minimize downtime.
Lead continuous improvement, DFM, and cost-saving opportunities across functions.
Develop and maintain BOMs, labor standards, routings, and work instructions in ERP.
