Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI, seeks an Industrial Engineer to design and launch scalable manufacturing for UL 891 switchboards and other electrical assemblies. The role emphasizes production layout, material flow, work instructions, labor standards, routings, and ERP data support on the factory floor.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with materials and production, apply Lean and Kaizen, and drive safety, quality, and delivery improvements as the Electrical Equipment Solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work on the production floor.
• Ability to learn manufacturing processes in depth and develop SME expertise.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, urgent manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Define process and layout to assemble UL 891 switchboards safely and efficiently.
• Perform time studies, line balancing, material flow planning, and ergonomic analyses.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials, labor standards, and routings in Epicor ERP.
• Provide hands-on support for day-to-day production issues and continuous improvement.
