RTX is seeking a skilled engineer for the Forest, MS facility to create and update work instructions ensuring all assembly-technical requirements are met. You will perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and support transitions to build activities and first article validation for new products.

Responsibilities include aiding fixture/tooling design, safety initiatives, and addressing systemic issues with continuous improvement to reduce scrap and rework.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with defect analysis and process improvement.
• Experience determining root cause and corrective action implementation.
• Experience working with engineering drawings.

Responsabilités

• Create and update work instructions to capture all technical requirements for assembly.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective action when defects occur.
• Support transition to build activities and first article validation for new products.
• Participate in the design of fixtures and tooling.
• Undertake safety initiatives including job hazard analysis and ergonomic assessments.
• Support defect prevention and address systemic issues with the work area.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce scrap and rework.
• Occasional travel may be required.
