Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial in the U.S. seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to optimize manufacturing systems across data centre infrastructure. You will lead capacity modelling, process improvements, and KPI‑driven initiatives to raise safety, quality and throughput.

Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 8+ years of experience, Lean Six Sigma certification, SAP ERP/MRP, and Power BI/Power Apps knowledge. You will mentor engineers and lead cross‑functional projects across site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a complex environment.
• Proven experience leading plant‑wide process improvements.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, capacity planning, and production optimisation.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience with cross‑functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary manufacturing engineering resource for assigned value streams and production areas.
• Lead complex manufacturing, quality, and productivity problem solving using structured methods.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma tools (VSM, Kaizen, standardised work).
• Perform capacity modelling, simulations, and production optimisation studies.
• Define manufacturing standards and lead new product introductions and process transfers.
• Develop KPI dashboards and drive data‑based decision making.
• Mentor Manufacturing Engineers, technicians, and operations staff.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Technology, Product Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality.
