Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial is seeking a DCN Manufacturing Engineer to support Data Center infrastructure solutions. You will troubleshoot shop-floor issues, drive continuous improvements using Lean Six Sigma, and optimize material flow and bottlenecks.

A Bachelor’s in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and 3–7 years in manufacturing engineering are required, with CAD, SAP ERP, and Power Platform skills preferred. Relocation to Shreveport is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
3-7 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
Strong ability to read schematics and interpret drawings.
Experience in a high-mix, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Proficient in CAD modeling and layout design.
Advanced usage of SAP ERP/MRP for production, inventory, and materials management.
Power Platform (Power BI / Power Apps) for analytics and process digitization.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve shop-floor issues during day operations.
Lead continuous process improvement with Lean Six Sigma methods (Value Stream Mapping, standardized work, line balancing, Kaizen, 5S, cell design, batch-size optimization, pull systems).
Analyze material movements and layouts to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
Perform capacity analyses and use simulations to optimize production.
Identify bottlenecks and implement throughput improvements.
Lead Kaizen and train shop floor personnel on new processes and standards.
Develop and monitor KPIs related to process capability, yield, cycle time, and quality.
Collaborate with Engineering to integrate new products and technologies into operations.
Lead root-cause analysis for manufacturing issues.
Ensure adherence to engineering specifications and best practices.
Support cost reduction, productivity improvement, and quality assurance projects.
