Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, Florida is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to lead the fabrication and optimization of cryogenic fluid systems for its launch vehicles. The ideal candidate will have substantial hands-on experience in cryogenic systems, demonstrate strong engineering fundamentals, and work collaboratively across teams to deliver reliable systems aligned with Blue Origin's ambitious mission.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct manufacturing and engineering experience in relevant fields.
• Knowledge of GD&T; familiarity with cryogenic testing and safety protocols.
• Experience with design and production of cryogenic fluid systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering intent into functional cryogenic fluid systems hardware.
• Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of cryogenic hardware.
• Conduct design for manufacturability reviews emphasizing cryogenic performance.

Skills

Hands-on experience with cryogenic systems

Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals

Strong written and communication skills

Organizational and analytical skills

Education

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering

Tools

CAD software (Creo or CATIA V5)

Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
