Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a 2nd Shift HVAC Supervisor & Engineering Lab Technician for its Charlotte facility. This hands‑on supervisory role leads a team of technicians in water‑cooled and air‑cooling chiller testing, while bridging technical execution and team coordination during shift transitions.

The position emphasizes managing complex hydro and electrical systems, ensuring quality and reliability for critical cooling equipment used in hospitals and data centers.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years HVAC industry experience.
• 2+ years experience with precise measurement systems (electrical, temperature, pressure, flow).
• 1+ years of high voltage/high‑power electrical experience including safety awareness.
• Mechatronics/engineering tech background preferred for hands-on lab work.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and organize a team of technicians to conduct water- and air-cooled chiller testing.
• Personally execute test runs and set up chillers with instrumentation, monitoring data acquisition.
• Oversee support infrastructure including boilers, cooling towers, and high‑pressure pumping systems.
• Identify failures in PLCs or instrumentation; coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Enforce electrical safety and calibration standards to maintain zero-incident environment.
