Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding to De Soto, Kansas, building a high-volume lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility. We seek a Manufacturing Engineer III to lead cross-functional process improvements, drive equipment upgrades, and mentor junior engineers in a safety-focused environment.

As a technical leader, you will develop manufacturing standards, analyze data to improve throughput and quality, and collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or closely related STEM field.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent experience preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification or equivalent safety training.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-sized process improvement, equipment upgrade, or automation projects.
• Develop, validate, and maintain manufacturing standards and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Controls to improve safety and performance.
