Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering professional to join the Simultaneous Development Team. You will provide input on manufacturing feasibility, develop process flows and plant layouts, review gaging and packaging strategies, and manage budgets for capital equipment and tooling.

With 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, you will apply AutoCAD, PLC programming, automation, and Lean/Six Sigma practices while coordinating cross-functional launches across North America and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, Plastics or Engineering Technology (BSME/BSMET or similar).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, advanced manufacturing, or process engineering.
• Automotive interiors experience preferred, strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with AutoCAD, PLC programming, automation, and Lean/Six Sigma training.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing feasibility assessments for product design, engineering changes, scope changes and quality concerns.
• Develop process flow and plant layout requirements and review packaging strategies.
• Define capital equipment and tooling requirements and manage program budgets.
• Project manage procurement and acceptance of equipment and tooling.
• Facilitate implementation of production equipment/tooling and provide training.
• Complete Process FMEA and manage risk assessments.
