Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to drive labor optimization, facility layouts, and material flow improvements across North American plant operations. You will lead complex optimization programs, partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and CI teams, and guide strategic initiatives for new programs and manufacturing expansions.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, advanced AutoCAD and MODAPTS capabilities, and the ability to travel to customer sites and manufacturing plants

Qualifications

• BS degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Operations Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in industrial engineering and lean manufacturing.
• Experience with labor standards, time studies, and line balancing.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Develop facility flow improvements for material movement and floor space utilization.
• Manage value stream mapping and create future-state roadmaps with targets.
• Champion Kaizen events and coordinate cross-functional teams to eliminate waste.
• Define and monitor IE metrics aligned to plant objectives.
• Provide expertise on labor productivity and manufacturing optimization.
