Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to advance disruptive manufacturing solutions. You will design and validate mechanical systems, tools, and fixtures, applying fundamentals of statics, dynamics, and heat transfer to production challenges.

You will collaborate on fluid dynamics, pneumatic & hydraulic systems, and PLC-enabled equipment, delivering robust, manufacturable concepts with hands-on testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate and implement manufacturing processes and mechanical systems.
• Lead mechanical design of machine structures, tooling, guarding, and fixtures.
• Apply statics, dynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics to manufacturing.
• Create calculations, specs, drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Lead equipment suppliers and integrators for custom manufacturing solutions.
• Provide fluid-system design and validation for compressed air, water, and lubricants.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and read electrical schematics.
