dormakaba USA, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III in Indianapolis, IN to independently lead and execute complex projects, driving improvements in manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and product quality. This role serves as a technical resource and mentor within the Assembly department.

The base salary range is $100,000–$130,000, determined by education, experience, and market data. Benefits information is available on the career site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading complex manufacturing projects and process improvements.
• Strong background in troubleshooting, lean manufacturing, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze, design, and refine complex manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and reduce cost.
• Lead cross-functional projects related to automation, process development, or capacity expansion.
• Serve as a senior technical expert to resolve production issues and mentor operators/junior engineers.
• Drive lean initiatives including kaizen events, value stream improvements, and Six Sigma projects.
