dormakaba is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III based in Indianapolis, IN to independently lead and execute complex engineering projects, driving improvements in manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and product quality. The role mentors team members and supports lean initiatives across operations.

Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 and will be determined by education, experience, and market data. Benefits information is provided on the career site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering required.
• Demonstrated success leading complex projects and process improvements.
• Strong troubleshooting, lean manufacturing, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze, design, and refine complex manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead cross-functional projects related to automation, process development, or capacity expansion.
• Serve as a senior technical expert to resolve production issues and mentor operators and junior engineers.
• Drive lean initiatives including kaizen events and Six Sigma projects.
