Job summary

Beehive Industries in Centennial, Colorado is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own product lifecycle activities, lead process development, and drive production readiness. You will partner with design and plant teams to improve yield, cycle time, and manufacturability, mentor junior engineers, and support APQP, PFMEA, and lean initiatives.

A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years of experience is required; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience; NPIs and production environments.
• Experience with complex mechanical systems in aerospace/defense or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience leading DFM/DFA and production readiness efforts.
• Structured problem-solving to resolve manufacturing and quality challenges.
• Knowledge of GD&T, Lean Manufacturing, APQP, and SPC is preferred.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain a US government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing engineering execution for products, modules, or components.
• Lead process definition, workflow development, and production readiness activities.
• Drive DFM/DFA collaboration with design engineering teams.
• Support product transitions from prototype to production.
• Develop tooling concepts, process documentation, and technical standards.
• Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks affecting cost, quality, schedule.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Partner with Plant Manufacturing Engineering to implement processes.
• Improve yield, cycle time, throughput, and manufacturability.
• Support APQP, PFMEA, control plans, SPC, and Lean activities.
• Serve as manufacturing representative on IPTs.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
