Job summary

Beehive Industries in Knoxville, Tennessee seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to advance production readiness across the product lifecycle, from NPI through ramp. You will develop processes, support DFM/DFA reviews, and help resolve manufacturing challenges. This role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering and at least two years of related experience.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with machining, assembly, additive manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing strategy and execution for products.
• Develop manufacturing processes, workflows, and requirements.
• Support DFM/DFA reviews with Design Engineering teams.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation.
• Assist with NPI from prototype to production.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, supply chain, and engineering.
• Support tooling concepts and continuous improvement using Lean.
• Analyze metrics like yield, cycle time, and process capability.
• Participate in program reviews and readiness assessments.
