Job summary

Beehive Industries is a Centennial, Colorado-based company focused on powering American defense by advancing jet propulsion systems using traditional and additive manufacturing. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer, NPI Hardware will own production readiness for purchased hardware, driving design for manufacturability, planning, prototyping, and process improvements to reduce cost and improve quality.

This role requires 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience, ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on manufacturing experience including tube bending, forming, welding, and electronics enclosures.

Responsibilities

• Design for Manufacturing: work with design team to develop designs ready for manufacturing.
• Manufacturing Planning: create production plans and work instructions and coordinate resources.
• Prototyping and Testing: oversee prototype manufacturing and validation to meet specs.
• Process Development: design and optimize processes considering materials, machinery, tooling, and labor.
• Collaborative Work: coordinate with design, quality, and supply chain to ensure smooth production.
