Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
A strong background in aerospace manufacturing with deep, hands-on exposure to sheet metal forming, welding, and heat treating processes.
Between seven and twelve years of relevant engineering experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in navigating SolidWorks models and drawings.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills for multiple priorities management.
Experience with aerospace audits, Nadcap, or AS9100 standards is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Validate and refine manufacturing methods for new drawings with the estimating team.
Investigate quality holds and develop robust rework and repair processes.
Provide technical support to program managers across NPI and engineering change programs.
Lead customer-facing technical discussions regarding project milestones and solutions.
Act as a senior technical mentor for cross-functional teams and younger program managers.
