Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for New Product Introduction. You will lead manufacturing technique implementations, review designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability, and manage MRL and UPC processes to achieve APQP goals.

The role interfaces with Engineering and Sourcing, supports DFMEA/PFMEA, DFx, RTY efforts, and drives production readiness. A strong background in aerospace product development and APQP is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, mechatronics, electrical, aerospace).
• 5+ years of engineering, technical program management or Integrated Supply Chain experience.
• 3+ years manufacturing engineering or technical program management on complex mechanical or electromechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of new manufacturing techniques.
• Review conceptual and development designs for cost, quality, manufacturability, and yield.
• Manage Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) items to meet IPDS goals.
• Interface with Engineering and Sourcing to identify Suppliers meeting capacity, cost, and capability goals.
• Drive DFx activities and APQP artifacts (DFMEA/PFMEA/Control Plan/PPAP).
