Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for Engines & Power Systems/NPI. The role focuses on implementing new manufacturing techniques, evaluating designs for manufacturability, and driving APQP tasks to ensure cost, quality, and yield targets.

On-site in Phoenix, AZ, with cross-functional IPT collaboration. The position requires 5+ years in engineering or program management and 3+ years in manufacturing engineering on complex electromechanical products, plus

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Aerospace).
5+ years of engineering, technical program management or integrated supply chain experience.
3+ years performing manufacturing engineering and/or technical program management on complex mechanical or electromechanical products.

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of new manufacturing techniques.
Review conceptual and development designs for cost, quality, manufacturability, and yield.
Manage Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) items to meet IPDS goals.
Manage Unit Product Cost (UPC) models to meet Flawless Launch and APQP goals.
Ensure DFx activities and APQP artifacts are utilized (PMAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP).
Interface with Engineering and Sourcing to identify Suppliers meeting capacity, cost, and capability goals.
Interface with Production Cells to ensure smooth Production Transitions.
Support AME activities including standard work definition and tiered MOS accountability.
