Job summary

You will design and optimize manufacturing processes for complex laser and electro-optical systems, collaborating with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering or related field (Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Tech, CS, Data Science, Math, Physics, Chemistry)
5+ years of aerospace supply chain and manufacturing experience
Prior experience in manufacturing engineering in aerospace environment

Responsibilities

Design, develop and optimize manufacturing processes and tooling for complex aerospace parts
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and cost-effective production
Review drawings and provide comments to responsible engineer
Participate in IPTs to integrate solutions across disciplines
Assist in shop layout and equipment selection for new processes
