Job summary

The Marvin Group in Southern California near Los Angeles International Airport is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong aerospace background to lead the design and optimization of mechanical and electro‑mechanical assemblies. You will break down customer requirements, review manufacturability from drawings, create manufacturing plans and BOMs, and drive process improvements on large metallic parts with CNC involvement.

Collaboration with production and engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• 7+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• FSDA and machining/fabrication experience.
• DPD/MBD knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Break down customer requirements per drawings to review manufacturability.
• Create manufacturing planning, BOMs, and liaise with production.
• Troubleshoot assembly and machining problems; improve processes.
• Support production to ensure parts meet specifications and quality.
• Identify tooling needs and drive cost/time reductions.
