Job summary

V2X in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join the Hardware Engineering team on site. You will lead manufacturing engineering efforts for NPIs and support production launches, with exposure to aircraft structures manufacturing and aerospace standards.

You will mentor junior engineers, develop production routings and BOMs in SAP, and coordinate with design, scheduling, quality, and leadership.

Qualifications

BS in Aerospace/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering; MS preferred.
10+ years in aerospace/defense manufacturing, with MRO/production experience desirable.
Experience with MIL-STD-1530, JSSG-2006, PFMEA development, and lean manufacturing.
Experience using ERP to generate production routings (SAP S/4HANA preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing engineering for NPIs and continuous improvement.
Mentor junior engineers and support staffing estimates for proposals.
Develop production routings and BOMs in SAP; coordinate ECM activities.
Review work instructions and cross-functional coordination with design, scheduling, quality, and leadership.
