Job summary

V2X is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide direct support to assembly operations and, at times, lead small teams on programs as the prime design authority. You will collaborate with design engineers, program leadership, and production teammates in a fast-paced, high-mix/low-volume environment.

The role requires developing work instructions, performing process safety assessments, and designing tooling and fixturing to enable efficient assembly operations.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years as an engineer in general industrial assembly manufacturing.
• 5+ years in industrial machining or metal fabrication (including forming and welding).
• Experience writing detailed work instructions for assembly and rework.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineers on projects as the program's lead Mfg Engineer.
• Review production routings and PFMEAs for quality and accuracy.
