Job summary

CIRCOR Naval Solutions, LLC in Warren, MA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support new product development, process improvement, and hardware production with a focus on high-precision metal components. The ideal candidate has a strong Lean/Six-Sigma background, mentoring ability, and extensive CAD/CAM experience (NX/SolidWorks/CATIA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) from an accredited university.
• At least 8 years of relevant Manufacturing Engineering experience preferred in a high precision manufacturing environment with high mix/low volume product rates.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and control the technical standards for use by Manufacturing Engineers.
• Define process control requirements and lead PFMEA activities.
• Mentor and develop the technical abilities of other employees.
• Evaluate complex manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, conferring with suppliers, and soliciting observations from shop floor workforce.
• Lead trouble shooting efforts on and off the shop floor in RCCM activities.
