Job summary

HRB in Ohio is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support production of high-performance aerospace components. The role is in-person and focuses on taking process improvements from concept to implementation, collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, and Operations.

You will analyze data, troubleshoot equipment, design fixtures, and own projects from start to finish, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in a similar role, including at least three years in manufacturing engineering.
• Hands-on experience developing and improving manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with GD&T and CAD.
• Experience designing fixtures or tooling and working with CNC machining.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage projects independently.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production and statistical data to identify process improvements.
• Troubleshoot recurring equipment and manufacturing issues and implement lasting solutions.
• Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and processes involving CNC equipment.
• Own engineering projects from problem identification through implementation.
• Support equipment selection, machine setup, prototypes, process validation, and production launches.
• Update bills of material, manufacturing routers, and engineering procedures.
