Job summary

Global manufacturing technology leader in Phoenix seeks a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, prototype fabrication, and verification testing of products.

The role involves creating and editing models, drawings, and BOMs; updating production designs; establishing test plans; and interfacing with sales, product management, and manufacturing to resolve technical issues. Bachelor's in ME required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Creation and editing of models and assemblies.
• Development of detail drawings, bills of material, specifications.
• Update existing production designs and drawings.
• Establish test plans to validate new/modified designs or benchmark existing designs.
• Prepare engineering changes, process documentation, and reports.
• Interface with sales, product management, manufacturing, outside suppliers, and end users.
• Analyze customer requirements and test results and propose solutions.
• Research alternative methods, components, designs, processes, or materials.
• Respond to internal or external technical problems and pursue to resolution.
• Produce documentation in the form of bulletins and manuals.
• Generate novel and practical solutions to a variety of problems.
