Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of manufacturing engineers at the Hebron, KY site.

You will drive process improvement, support production, and oversee NPI, with a focus on quality and scalable manufacturing. Reporting to the Director, Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will champion continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration within Global Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in manufacturing engineering within a GMP environment, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma track record; Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Hands‑on NPI experience including process development, validation & equipment qualification.
• Strong understanding of assembly, machining, fabrication, automation & inspection processes.
• Leadership, coaching and data‑driven decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvement to boost efficiency, reduce waste and improve quality.
• Provide hands‑on engineering support to resolve manufacturing issues and minimize downtime.
• Oversee New Product Introduction with R&D for manufacturability and validation.
• Implement advanced technologies and automation to scale production.
• Partner with quality teams to maintain process controls and regulatory compliance.
• Lead projects and collaborate across Production, Supply Chain and R&D.
