Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, is hiring a Sr Controls Engineer to support Hebron KY manufacturing. You will contribute across planning, design, programming, and commissioning of automated control systems on-site.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or Mechatronics with 5+ years (or Master’s with 2+ years), strong PLC skills, Rockwell ControlLogix, Cognex vision, and a track record in cross-functional project leadership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Mechatronics/Automation; 5+ years of experience or Master’s with 2+ years.
• Proficient in PLC programming (ladder logic and structured text) and with AC/DC drives, servo motors, HMIs, vision systems and safety systems.
• Strong ability to lead projects within an engineering team and manage automation objectives per specs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Beckman factories and suppliers to define URS and design automation concepts.
• Design and program industrial control systems, ensure supplier deliverables meet standards.
• Coordinate end-to-end project execution including budgeting, scheduling, installation and training.
