Job summary

Amy's Kitchen is seeking a Systems Engineer to conceptualize, develop, and implement engineering programs that advance Manufacturing objectives. You will drive projects from design through execution, ensuring on-time completion within budget.

Responsibilities include PLC programming, control loop tuning, software design descriptions, and resolving issues across the facility. Supervisory duties are limited; strong collaboration with teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Controls or Systems Engineering, or 15+ years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems; control theory; experience with PLCs and plant automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility and equipment projects; conduct cost/benefit studies and scheduling.
• Evaluate new processing equipment for efficiency and total cost of ownership.
• Prepare project specifications; coordinate bids, awards, and installations.
• Provide technical support to plant departments as needed; troubleshoot control systems.
• Design electrical panels; program PLCs (SLC/Logix) and develop HMIs.
• Coordinate activities with contractors and maintenance across projects.
