Job summary

Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors, LLC is seeking a seasoned Controller to oversee financial statements, AP/AR, and the accounting staff in a manufacturing environment in Indiana. You will drive cost accounting accuracy and profitability analysis across departments.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Accounting with 10+ years of relevant experience and preferably CPA/CMA credentials. Strong Excel skills and ERP/BI collaboration are required for success.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Construction and/or Manufacturing industry.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Experience with Sage 100.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close and reporting.
• Prepare cost-to-complete by department and profit margin projections.
• Maintain Job Cost within Sage 100 and analyze profitability.
• Present Job Cost and departmental profitability analyses.
• Drive profitability with department leads and KPI focus.
• Collaborate with estimators on accuracy and bid strategies including contribution margin.
• Supervise accounting staff and develop the team.
• Coordinate with ERP consultants on dashboard development and usage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
