Job summary

twiceasnice Recruiting client in Hayward, CA is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to drive top-of-funnel growth in technical manufacturing sales. This high-visibility role focuses on prospecting new manufacturing customers, qualifying inbound leads, and re-engaging dormant CRM opportunities.

You will build relationships with engineering, purchasing, and supply chain professionals and create a strong pipeline for the outside sales team, with limited travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B business development, inside sales, or lead generation.
• Experience selling industrial or engineered products into manufacturing environments.
• Hunter mentality with proven outbound prospecting experience.
• Experience calling on engineering, purchasing, sourcing, or manufacturing decision-makers.
• Proficiency with CRM software, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Microsoft Office.
• Must be willing and able to work onsite during training (3-6 months).

Responsibilities

• Prospect new manufacturing customers through phone, email, LinkedIn, and account research.
• Qualify inbound leads from marketing, trade shows, and website inquiries.
• Re-engage inactive CRM leads and uncover new opportunities.
• Build relationships with engineering, purchasing, sourcing, and supply chain professionals.
• Research target accounts across North America.
• Prepare qualified opportunities for handoff to the outside sales team.
• Maintain CRM activity and pipeline documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams.
• Meet or exceed lead generation and pipeline goals.
