Job summary

Our client, a growing manufacturer of specialty adhesive materials, is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to join its team in Hayward, California. This role is focused on driving top-of-funnel growth by prospecting new manufacturing customers, qualifying inbound leads, and re-engaging dormant CRM opportunities.

Working closely with the Engineering and Sales teams, you'll identify customer needs, qualify opportunities, and transition them for technical development and closing.

Qualifications

• B2B business development or inside sales experience required.
• Experience selling industrial or engineered products into manufacturing environments.
• Hunter with outbound prospecting and relationship-building with engineers and buyers.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new manufacturing customers via phone, email, LinkedIn, and research.
• Qualify inbound leads from marketing, trade shows, and website inquiries.
• Re-engage inactive CRM leads and uncover new opportunities.
• Build relationships with engineering, purchasing, sourcing, and supply chain professionals.
• Research target accounts across North America.
• Prepare qualified opportunities for handoff to outside sales.
• Maintain CRM activity and pipeline documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams.
• Meet or exceed lead generation and pipeline goals.
